Twelve Days to Christmas: A Review of 2009

by Dawn on December 13, 2009

I’ve been writing Christmas cards today and wondered how some people find the time to write the Christmas Newsletters that come through – the ones from friends and family that keep you up-to-date and even though you haven’t seen them for years, they’re still friends and you know what’s happening in their lives.

So, I thought I’d start my own version a Twelve Days to Christmas series of blog posts looking at some of the highlights of 2009 – hey it’s the modern take on the News at Christmas letter.

January 2009

Not a great start to the year, I had a bad cold at Christmas which turned into a chest infection that I couldn’t shift – it lingered for months, horrid! A highlight though, I still managed a trip to Rome, first ever visit (and it was supposed to be the first of a number in 2009). I’ve been to Italy before (skiing) but never Rome – and yes I would go back. No pictures though – problem with my camera, but more on that later.

So there we go, not quite twelve drummers drumming, but definitely only twelve days to Christmas now.
